You’re Not a Maneater

You like men, and you respect whoever you happen to be with.
Whether it’s a fling or a boyfriend, you try to be honest and upstanding.
Of course, you’ve probably broken a few hearts in your time.
The difference with you is that you didn’t mean to!

Lagniappe Presbyterian Church

July 29, 2007

Our final donor comes by way of this little PCA church who understands that orthodoxy cannot come without orthopraxy. Their name says it all: Lagniappe, which in cajun french, means “an extra helping”. What their name doesn’t say, their mission statement does: to participate in the restoration of the Mississippi Gulf Coast through the declaration and demonstration of the love of God shown to us in Christ Jesus.

I was contacted on Thursday by a sweet girl named Sarah, asking if they could help by donating merchandise to the cause. Sarah knew Dustin personally, and, at this very moment, is spending some much needed r&r time with the Salter family.

Please drop in and see the folks at Lagniappe the next time you’re in their area, and of course, please send them your prayer and support as often as you are able.

Also, please take a look at this short clip discussing the mission and meaning of Lagniappe.
